FreeBSD VPS in Development

  Our development team are currently working on an i386 FreeBSD 8.1 template that can be deployed within our network.

  Once the template is live, we will be looking for experienced FreeBSD users/administrators to BETA Test the template. We will offer 5 people £50 credit to these testers to use as they with on UK-VPS.co.

  Well, I have manage to run a small (80 MB) FreeBSD 8.2 RC3 (8.1 also works) kvm vps on another provider, I also used to have xen hvm freebsd on other provider. Based on my experience, honestly FreeBSD runs better on KVM. But, yeah I can test it for you (FreeBSD or even NetBSD).

  Thanks Adria, we’re aware of the ease of which Hardware Virtualized platforms can operate BSD, and we’re trying to adapt the availability of BSD into mainstream markets.

  We have NetBSD trials active if you check our other forum posts.
